In cities across the United States, community leaders are learning how to cultivate local assets for sustainable community development. Hospitals, universities, banking institutions, philanthropic organizations, nonprofits, and others are beginning to see themselves as engines of local economic opportunity. Through deep partnerships between such anchor institutions, many neighborhoods are taking initiative and creating equitable and sustainable local economies by building community wealth collaboratively.
Join us on Friday, April 7th at 11:30am for a catered luncheon and community presentation on this new paradigm of community wealth building by Ted Howard, Co-founder and President of The Democracy Collaborative. Ted will be sharing best practices for sustainable and equitable community wealth building currently being used around the country.
The event is free and open to the public, but seats are limited. Please visit the Eventbrite page to learn more and register to secure your spot.
